Description of Document	The experimental specification will discuss and define quality of service (QoS) extensions for Bundle Protocol. QoS will be supported by a new BP extension block and related policies. As a minimum, these extensions shall allow to define different traffic priorities but may also include reliability or other QoS. QoS might be assigned at the source of bundles but may also be changed dynamically while data is transversing through the networks.
Applicable Patents	There are no patent issues for this technology that are known by the CCSDS community
Patent Comments
Survey of Similar Standards Documents or Projects Undertaken in Other Bodies and elsewhere in CCSDS	BPv6 included a two bit priority field in the header and the current CCSDS BP Blue Book included the definition of an 'Extended Class of Service Extension Specification' in Annex C. Support for different QoS exist in various other communication standards in IETF and IEEE and will be taken into account.
