Description of Document	The purpose of this document is to provide the interfaces and protocols for the CCSDS and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Open Archival Information System Interoperability Framework (OAIS-IF) Core Specifications. It is a supplement to the overarching OAIS Reference Model standard. The purpose of the set of standards which make up OAIS-IF is to define interfaces and services which go beyond the exchange of data (as in communications standards) and instead will enable the exchange of information.
Applicable Patents	There are no patent issues for this technology that are known by the CCSDS community

Survey of Similar Standards Documents or Projects Undertaken in Other Bodies and elsewhere in CCSDS	The members of the group have extensive knowledge of OAIS interoperability have determined that there are no other standards or projects with similar scope in the digital preservation industry.

Book Editor Resources	2 mm effort by the DAI WG chair, who volunteers his effort via UKSA. No additional resources are required from UKSA.

Prototype 1 Resources	0.3 FTE to adapt existing prototype code performed by DAI WG Chief Architect (JPL/Steve Hughes) and perform interoperabiity testing with ESA.
