This experimental report provides an overview of NASA’s cFS software architecture and the integration and use of CCSDS standards to enhance interoperability, system commonality. It shall cover the following topics: 1. Overview of NASA’s cFS software architecture and tool chains. 2. Use of CCSDS standards in the architecture, development tools, and ground systems. 3. Benefits of applied standards to the development, maintenance and operations of spacecraft systems.
