Description of Document	The DTN Multipoint Delivery Orange book will be based on the ION implementation and will serve as a basis for other agencies and DTN implementations to assess interoperabilty considerations prior to initiating a project aimed at producing a Blue Book. The Orange book will document two key aspects of multipoint delivery: 1) a multipoint naming scheme (IMC) that builds on the IPN naming scheme and 2) definition of Bundle Protocol extensions. The Bundle Protocol extensions include a Multicast Extension Block and a Multicast Briefing Administrative Message.

Survey of Similar Standards Documents or Projects Undertaken in Other Bodies and elsewhere in CCSDS	The CCSDS DTN WG has coordinated with the IETF DTN WG and determined that IETF is not pursuing work on DTN Multipoint Delivery at this time. CCSDS will lead this effort, relying on IETF resources for external review and comment.

Resource Comments	This Orange Book was determined by the DTN WG at the Spring 2023 CCSDS to be needed for the Lunar Relay mission and desired for ISS-IMC. The Orange Book was seen as an appropriate precursor to a CCSDS Blue Book
