Description of Document	This Registry Management Policy document will describe a set of commonly used, core, registries for organizations, contacts, and Object identifiers (OID). It will describe the contents, the policies for updating these registries, and the relationships among them. It will also describe how these core registries are to be updated or extended, as needed, by adding new organizations, persons and roles. Furthermore, the relationships of these registries to other registries with agency specific information, such as spacecraft, RF assets, and various services will also be described. There are two companion documents: - The SANA Yellow Book, CCSDS 313x0y1 - A "handbook" for Working Group chairs CCSDS 313x2y0
Applicable Patents	There are no patent issues for this technology that are known by the CCSDS community
Patent Comments
Survey of Similar Standards Documents or Projects Undertaken in Other Bodies and elsewhere in CCSDS	These policies are derived, in part, from the existing CCSDS policies in A02x1y4 and from the design of the SCID and MACAO registries. They are also to be aligned and coordinated, where necessary, with the related registries that are part of the CCSDS website.

Resource Comments	Drafts of this document and the two others mentioned were produced and reviewed within the SSG and by the SANA Operator and CCSDS Secretariat. No prototype is necessary, but work will need to be done by the SANA and Secretariat teams to align current registries. Adjustments to the SANA YB have also been made. Related changes to the SCID and MACAO documents will also be required, to be handled separately as resources are available.
