Description of Document	Objective of this project is to add LDPC slicing to the LDPC Codes relevant section(s) TM channel coding in the Blue Book (131.0-B). The feature will add a mechanism similar to the one already used for SCCC (131.2-B) and DVB-S2 (131.3-B). The change will be done via a pink sheet in the framework of the 3-years review of the 131.0-B (review relative to the LDPC portion, added to the book in 2011).
Applicable Patents	There are no patent issues for this technology that are known by the CCSDS community
Patent Comments	Patents for LDPC technology have been already covered by appropriate ISO forms (submitted when LDPC was added to the Blue Book). The new feature (slicing) is not covered by any known patent
