Description of Document

An Electronic Data Sheet for an onboard devices electronically describes: - Device-specific Access Protocol: how to access the device using SOIS subnetwork services; - Functional Interface: how to access the functions provided by the device, virtualised from the access method (e.g. using engineering units rather than raw values) - Device Abstraction Control Procedure: mapping the Functional Interface onto the Device-specific Access Protocol - Ancillary Information: text, figures etc. The book describes the structure and required elements within an Electronic Data Sheet, independent of any particular technology

Prototype 1 Resources

Covered by ESA ESTEC prototyping. This will consist of selecting typical AOCS devices and ensuring that all information necessary to develop the SOIS DAS and DVS related services can be defined using the specified profile. Auto coding of software will add an additional verification but it is not considered necessary to validate the book.
