Description of Document | Objective of this project is to add the LDPC Codes to the TM channel coding blue book (131.0-B).
This project has been created splitting into 3 projects the original task of adding three new codes with the following areas of applicability :
- LDPCC, applicable to science missions
- SCCC, applicable to Earth Exploration Satellites (EES) Missions for data rates above 100 Mbaud
- DVB-S2 code, applicable to EES Missions for data rates up to 150 Mbaud |
Applicable Patents | There are patent issues in this work area, but appropriate ISO forms have been submitted indicating RAND licensing policy by the patent holder or licensor (explain in comments). |
Patent Comments | LDPC Codes patents are applicable to the new added part. ISO form signed.
Turbo Codes patents are applicable to the old unmodified part.
