SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book
1. 'bilateral' includes completely bilateral services and partially CCSDS-compliant services e.g. configuration profiles with CCSDS uplinks and bilaterally-defined downlinks.

2. need to include diagram(s) showing relationship of offsets (transfer service profile)

Incomplete Service Package as of the Expiration of the minServiceDefinitionLeadTime - the discussion of the manipulation of a Service Package over time should address the following:

a) If UM disables all of the transfer services for a Space Link Service Session for a Service Scenario by either:

  1. setting transferServicesDeferred = ‘true’ in the associated SpaceLinkServiceRequest data set, or
  2. setting instanceEnabled = ‘false’ for every default transfer service mapping contained by the referenced Space Link Service Profile then UM should enable the applicable deferred transfer services (via REPLACE_SERVICE_PACKAGE operation) before expiration of minServiceDefinitionLeadTime of the Service Agreement
b) If UM defers the definition of the SpaceLinkEventSequenceReference data set by setting sequenceOfEvents = ‘eventSequenceDeferred’ in the SpaceLinkServiceRequest data set, UM should supply the applicable deferred data set (via REPLACE_SERVICE_PACKAGE operation) before expiration of minServiceDefinitionLeadTime of the Service Agreement.

Subject: SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book: Red-1 RID JPL-DB-70 to be satisfied in Concept Book

The disposition of Red-1 RID JPL-DB-70 (Diagram Might Be Helpful) was that the recommended diagram would be put i the Concept Book.

Subject: SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book: Red-1 RID DLR-GSOC-01-Oh to be satisfied in Concept Book

The disposition of Red-1 RID DLR-GSOC-01-Oh (General Remarks) was that they would be used as input for the Concept Book.

Subject: SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book: Trajectory Refs in Proposed Service Packages

1. The trajectoryRef parameter in a Proposed Service Package is in reference to a trajectory file that had been provided by (or on behalf of) UM to CM prior to CM's atempting to find a slot in the schedule for the proposed Servce Package. CM uses the previously-provided trajectory data to confrim visibility prior to making the proposal.

2. Multiple trajectory files may be referenced by a single PSP in cases where a single trajectory file does not extend across period of visibility from an antenna (but two ro more file do).

Subject: SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book: Subcarrier Data Sets Present Only If Subcarriers Are Used

In messages that use the <<SpaceLinkSessionProfile>> stereotype, the Subcarrier data sets (R401Subcarrier and F401Subcarrier) are used only if a subcarrier is being scheduled. If a subcarrier is not being scheduled, the data set does not appear in the message.

Note - this clarification is necessary to prevent the possibility that someone might try to set to [r/f]SubcarrierFrequency parameter to a zero value to indicate the absence of the subcarrier. It is no linkger possible to set a [r/f]SubcarrierFrequency parameter to a zero value.

Subject: SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book: Red-1 RID VEGA-07 to be satisfied in Concept Book

The diposition of Red-1 RID VEGA-07 states that a use case will be included in the Concept Book to describe how two scenarios can be set up with different bit rates, and then switch (if necessary) to the appropriate scenario.

Subject: SMWG: Items for the SM Concept Book: Rule-based scheduling
Rule-based scheduling, and how it relates to the CTSP, should be discussed in the Concept Book. Note that even when rule-based scheduling produces only a provisional schedule (i.e., CM doesn't actually put it on the schedule, but just lets UM know that the time is currently available), a CTSP-SR means that UM wants to actually schedule it.
