Description of Document	This document specifies a standard for use in exchanging spacecraft navigation data between space agencies using XML representations of the data messages developed by the CCSDS Navigation Working Group. The rationale for this particular update is to maintain currency with the ODM and ADM document updates.

Survey of Similar Standards Documents or Projects Undertaken in Other Bodies and elsewhere in CCSDS	There is no other standard that presents the CCSDS Navigation WG standards in XML format other than the present CCSDS document 505.0-B-n.

Book Editor	NASA
Book Editor Resources	The elapsed time for developing this document should be very short. The basic requirement is to remove the current content related to the Attitude Data Messages (ADM) given that the XML formatting information will be provided in the ADM V.2. The ADM has been through Agency Review, and most of the schema work has already been done.
Prototype 1	NASA
Prototype 1 Resources	Testing of the schemas and messages will be ongoing with the document development. The final test will take less than a week of elapsed time. Total FTE labor is estimated to be less than 1 month.
Prototype 2	Not Required
Prototype 2 Resources	Zero (0) resources necessary for a second prototype. Consistent with the NDM/XML Version 2 and 3 prototyping, only a single prototype implementation is proposed since the schemas on the SANA Registry will be the same for ALL users, and the astrodynamic content of the ADM V.2 will be tested in the prototyping of that Blue Book. Thus only a single prototype for the NDM/XML is sufficient.

Resource Comments	As noted in the comments for the Book Editor above, most of the schema work has already been done. Originally it was planned to have the ADM changes in the NDM/XML V.3 along with the ODM changes, but the ODM developed faster than the ADM. So it was necessary to split the removal of XML formatting for ODM and ADM into 2 separate versions of the NDM/XML Specification.
