Description of Document	An Electronic Data Sheet for an onboard devices electronically describes: - Device-specific Access Protocol: how to access the device using SOIS subnetwork services; - Functional Interface: how to access the functions provided by the device, virtualised from the access method (e.g. using engineering units rather than raw values) - Device Abstraction Control Procedure: mapping the Functional Interface onto the Device-specific Access Protocol - Ancillary Information: text, figures etc. The book describes the structure and required elements within an Electronic Data Sheet, independent of any particular technology
