Description of Document

CCSDS 230.1-G-1 "TC Synchronization and Channel Coding—Summary of Concept and Rationale. Green Book. Issue 1. June 2006." is an Informational Report that contains the concept and supporting rationale for the TC Synchronization and Channel Coding Recommended Standard and includes performance data and historical background information on code selection. This documents needs to be updated after changes to the related Blue Books. A new Section 9 titled “Options for Repeated Transmissions” is needed as well as an Annex for the performances of the new mechanism for Repeated Transmissions. Other small updates shall be included too.
